The series was a collaboration between WWF, Sky Ocean Rescue, North Devon UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, National Trust and the Environment Agency.

These building portraits are a selection of client commissions of homes, wedding venues, churches and special buildings which I have created over the years.
I have always loved painting buildings and using my watercolour style to bring to life the different character and history of places.
I think venue portraits can be such a great illustration tool and could sit in so many different areas in the world of illustration. From architectural projects and imaged buildings to editorial work for travel, food and shopping, as well as great marketing tools for shops, venues and businesses.
These illustrations feature private homes as well as Purton House, The Ram Inn Firle, Firle Place, Holy Cross Church Uckfield, Shaw House and Battle Abbey.
